In operation in South Africa since 1980, Pinetown Precision Engineering South Africa was originally an automotive engineering business specializing in the reconditioning of diesel engines. PPE-Australia was founded in 2007 and saw the next level of innovation within the industry in the creation of a highly automated production facility in Sydney. PPE-Australia has spent a total of $1.5 million on R&D since its inception, which reflects it's commitment to continual innovation and superior quality. As a direct result of this, PPE-Australia supplies the three largest European distributors of truck spare parts and is only aftermarket manufacturer of cylinder heads in Australia producing new heads for the MAN, Mercedes and Volvo diesel truck engines. The company has grown from strength-to-strength, highlighted in 2011 by the Australian Institute of Export's recognition of PPE-Australia's extraordinary performance in the international arena. All of this would not have been possible without the vision and uncompromising standards displayed by PPE-Australia's small and dedicated team of industry experts.
